The market has been waiting for Garmin's updated version of the popular G3X Touch avionics suite, and on the heels of AirVenture 2026, it announced AXIS – a clean sheet touchscreen suite that's designed for an easy upgrade to existing G3X Touch displays. For new installations, built-in IFR GPS, VHF navcomms, and an audio panel means eliminating the traditional radio stack altogether.
